  • What is the Ariba Platform?
    The ARIBA platform is a cloud-based tool that has a solution open to all systems and types of goods and services, providing an innovative way to connect with the world’s largest network of buyers and suppliers (Ariba), facilitating collaboration with the best business partners and improving solutions with tailored applications and extensions.

  • Do I need to pay to ?
    No. The Ariba platform offers the Standard which is free. This type of license has reduced functionality, but your company will be able to and transact with other customers at no cost.

  • What is the registration process like to be a SPIC supplier?
    Click on the “I want to be a supplier” button within the SPIC Suppliers page, you will be redirected to the SPIC Brasil Ariba page, or access your , complete the self-registration questionnaire with your company’s basic data, at the end Click “Submit”. It is important to correctly include your Company’s Supply Regions and Supply Category(s). It will be through the categories reported that the Supply team will research the companies in the system database.

  • I already respond to quotes through the Ariba Portal for other customers, can I use the same to service SPIC?
    Yes, however, if you already have an Ariba , when you receive an invitation to respond to a quote from SPIC, you must with the same credentials ( and ) and associate SPIC with your network.

  • Service-Provider with current Contract, do you need to in Ariba?
    Yes, because only with the registration made on the Ariba platform, the supplier may participate in new SPIC tenders.
